Clematis By Fright- West Palm Beach

Get a head start on Halloween this Thursday at Clematis by Fright. On Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Great Lawn at the West Palm Beach Waterfront.  Adults, kids, and pets can enjoy a variety of activities such as live music, haunted hayrides, face painting, a caricature artist and more. Guests in costume will have the opportunity to be rewarded with thousands-of-dollars in prizes. Prizes include tickets to top area attractions, hotel stays, concerts, local restaurants, and much more.

Ghosts of Fort Pierce Past

On October 24th and 25th from 5:30 - 7:30 historical figures from Fort Pierce’s past will tell their stories all throughout the downtown area. This annual living history tour is a fun way to learn about the people that settled in this area before the conveniences of air conditioning, mosquito control, and modern transportation.
 
Since there are so many interesting stories to tell, there are four different Ghosts of Fort Pierce Past walking tours. Each tour is approximately 1 hour in length, has 8 to 10 stops, and an actor portraying a person that has lived here in the past. Each tour is $5 per person and will sell out so reservations are required.

Howl-o-ween - Boca Raton

Head on over to Max’s Grille on Tuesday, October 23 for Howl-O-Ween, their annual Halloween pet fundraiser with the Tri-County Humane Society. Fun for all ages, the event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Bring along your creatively dressed pet to impress the judges for a chance to win the first, second or third place prize (and bragging rights). This can’t-miss pet parade has been known for showcasing some of the best over-the-top and clever pet costumes since it start in 2009; this year will surely be no different. To pre-register your pup, call Tri-County at 561-482-8110. Admission is $20 for those with or without pets. Registration fee includes two select drinks, passed hors-d'oeuvres and a frozen pup cake for your pup. Judging will take place at 6:45 p.m. sharp. All the proceeds from the entry fee will benefit Tri-County. Additionally, raffle tickets will be available for purchase for a chance to win a variety of prizes at the end of the night.

Moonfest - West Palm Beach

Dubbed the “best Halloween block party in the USA,” MoonFest will once again take over five blocks of Clematis Street on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thousands of costumed guests will convene for the monster event, featuring live entertainment, a haunted house, costume contest, and other Halloween festivities.

Information Society, Bow Wow Wow and Stray Cats' Slim Jim Phantom will headline the 26th annual event. Other notable entertainers performing across Moonfest’s three stages include The Heavy Pets, Million Young and Otto Von Schirach. Stages will be located on the 100, 300 and 500 blocks of Clematis St.

Spooky Safari Halloween - Loxahatchee

Spooky Scouts Overnight - West Palm Beach

Palm Beach Zoo's very first Spooky Scouts Overnight! This overnight program will show you a new side of the Zoo while having a little bit of Halloween fun and getting a start on some of your adventure requirements. This family-friendly program is intended for all Cub Scout participants, but please note that children must be at least 6 years old.

Town Center at Boca Raton Halloween Trick-or-Treating

Families are welcome to enjoy Town Center at Boca Raton’s kid-friendly free Mall-o-Ween celebration on Halloween! Costumed kiddos will enjoy a ghoulishly great time collecting candy at participating retailers in a climate-controlled environment.
 
NEW this year, the mall is hosting a festive Halloween Photo BOO!th. Located in Nordstrom Court, the two-sided photo vignette is free for shoppers and offers a “Fall Harvest” theme on one side and a “Halloween Fun” theme on the other. Make it creepy, make it scary or just make it fun, shoppers can snap a picture and share it online with #foundatsimon.

Trunk or Treat - West Palm Beach

The Palm Beach Outlets is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat Halloween-themed auto show with trick-or-treating for children. Expect thousands of unique vehicles, vendors, stores, giveaways, free coffee, car costumes, trick-or-treating with participating car owners and vendors, the new Mini Me Cars & Coffee kids’ club with Palm Beach Classics, and more. Aston Martin Palm Beach is set to unveil some new and rare Aston Martin models in the Exotic/Luxury Car Feature Area and Lamborghini Palm Beach is pulling out all the stops on the Showcase Corner. Rare and custom vehicles of all makes, models, and vintages will gather for Halloween's most spooktacular car event. Spectator admission and parking just outside the show area are free.  Display vehicles are $5 per vehicle at the entrances.  Sunday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. - noon.

Woodlawn Cemetery Tours

Thursday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m.  Join the City of West Palm Beach and volunteer historians for a FREE 90-minute walking tour of historic Woodlawn Cemetery! The cemetery is the final resting place of some of Palm Beach County’s most influential and important citizens as well as a few infamous ones whose story must also be told. Bring water, a flashlight, and any needed insect repellent. Comfortable shoes are a must! Fright Nights - West Palm Beach

Fright Nights is held annually at the 40,000 square foot Agriplex at the South Florida Fairgrounds.

This year's four themed haunts are Das Krankenhaus, Twisted Tales, The Mansion on Meadow Lane and Cuckoos Nest 2.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party  - Walt Disney World

Let’s boo this! There are even more nights to celebrate the spooky season this year during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This special-ticket event runs select nights Aug. 17 - Oct. 31 at Magic Kingdom Park. It’s also the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney Pictures’ “Hocus Pocus,” so what better way to celebrate the film than the spellbinding Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular at Cinderella Castle, where the Sanderson Sisters take “stage fright” to another level.

Guests should keep their eyes open for dancing ghosts, the Headless Horseman, plus Mickey Mouse, Peter Pan and many more beloved Disney Characters in the Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade. There will also be plenty of sweets for all trick-or-treaters around the park, including allergy-friendly options. And each night during the party, the skies above an eerily lit Cinderella Castle come alive during Happy HalloWishes, a magical fireworks extravaganza that definitely goes bump in the night!

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular 

Meet everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends including Elmo, The Count, Cookie Monster and more, plus watch our silly, not-so-spooky live shows, and trick or treat for candy and goodies throughout the park. It’s an ocean of Halloween fun for the whole family at SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular. During this daytime event, families are immersed in an underwater "fantasea" including trick-or-treating, whimsical sea creatures, and more in this family-friendly event that could only come from SeaWorld. SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular runs weekends, September 22 - October 28 and is included in park admission.
