There are no shortage of candidates eager to replace Mike Murgio on the Palm Beach County School Board.
So far, the district has received 14 applications to fill the seat, according to Gov. Rick Scott's Deputy Press Secretary Lauren Schenone.
Murgio stepped down after he was indicted on federal bribery charges in late April.
School leaders say there's no decision or deadline to name his replacement.
Applications for the seat have been submitted by the following candidates:
