Fire occurs at home full of clothing, household items in central Palm Beach County

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire Thursday morning in central Palm Beach County.

Capt. Albert Borroto said crews responded to the fire in the 6000 block of Strawberry Lakes Way, which is just off Lantana Road, at 6:11 a.m.

Firefighters reported smoke from the eaves of the home and immediately started a fire attack. Neighbors told fire crews that the home was vacant.

Borroto said crews brought the fire under control and extinguishing it quickly. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Borroto said the home was full of clothing and household items several feet deep throughout the entire home.
