Police in Palm Beach said Tuesday that four people were arrested in connection with the theft of more than $300,000 in high-end merchandise that was being shipped to South America.

On May 14, officers said a theft occurred at the Chanel located on Worth Avenue.  After reviewing security footage, police identified two women, Edna Rico-Cordona and Yeniffer Roldon-Salas in the case.

After locating the van, officers said they conducted surveillance on the suspects.

A South Florida Task Force was able to intercept stolen merchandise that included Prada, Gucci and Burberry the suspects were attempting to ship back to Colombia.

Police said their investigation led them to a fourth suspect, Jonathan Javier Bayonarrico.

Officer said they recovered items that were stolen from other high-end stores in Palm Beach, Coral Gables and The Dolphin Mall in Miami-Dade County.

The suspects were arrested on May 20 without incident at their hotel in Oakland Park, Fla., and charged with grand theft.
