A man was transported to a local area hospital after nearly drowning at a LA Fitness swimming pool.
The incident happened at 9:43: p.m. at the LA Fitness located at 10180 Forest Hill Boulevard in Wellington.
First arriving crews reported that a person had been pulled from a pool and was being cared for by bystanders.
The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
