UPDATE: The sheriff's office has identified the victim as Dalton Dobkins and say they are investigating the death as a homicide.
Dozens of friends gathered for a candlelight vigil near Dalton's home Wednesday night. They say Dalton loved to fish and was preparing to go to the U.S. Marin Corps Boot Camp in the summer.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting early Wednesday morning in Wellington.
At 3:36 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the Estates at Wellington Green, a gated community located in the 2300 block of Stonybrook Drive.
When deputies arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy dead at the scene. No motive or suspect info is known at this time.
Detectives are at the scene investigating.
