The man accused of driving drunk and killing an MMA fighter in Delray Beach posted a $450,000 bond and is now in house arrest.
Jail records show Dennis Wright posted his bond August 30. Earlier in the month, a judge denied his request for a bail reduction.
Those jail records show Wright is only allowed to leave his home to meet his lawyers, go to the courthouse, or get medical care. Logs show he left his home twice to visit his attorneys.
He was not in court Monday morning. Lawyers briefly discussed adding more conditions under which Wright could leave his home. To get a haircut, for example. The judge instructed the defense team to submit a list for him to review.
Delray Beach police believe the 29-year-old Boca Raton man hit and killed Jordan Parsons while drunkenly speeding down Federal Highway in May.
Parsons was an up-and-coming mixed martial arts fighter who trained in Boca Raton.
