PBSO: 1 suspect fatally shot near West Palm Beach identified, 1 suspect at large, victim in critical condition

SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A shooting near West Palm Beach left one person dead and another injured early Sunday.

Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to the 4400 block of Purdy Lane at 3:38 a.m. and located two males with gunshot wounds.

PBSO says one male it described as a suspect was deceased and another male, identified as a victim, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He is currently in critical condition.

Detectives say a second suspect fled the scene.

Monday morning the sheriff's office described the deceased person as 33-year-old Algenoy Hollis of Boynton Beach.
