Martin County investigators said Thursday that saws used to dismember Tricia Todd’s body were bought by her suspected killer in late March, a month before she was killed.
Todd's ex-husband, Steven Williams, has confessed to killing her and dumping her remains at the Hungryland Preserve.
Detectives said Williams bought the battery-powered saws on Amazon.com.
Divers this week found the saws in a canal at the Hungryland Preserve near where some of Todd's remains were found in late May.
The sheriff believes the plea deal, where Williams was to reveal where he buried Todd, is void since they only found partial remains.
