"I promise you, I won't let you down," said Mast in front of a packed crowd Tuesday night in Stuart.
The Mast campaign pointed toward their outreach in Martin and St. Lucie County as the keys to victory.
Now he says he's focused on Washington. He plans to be on the Transportation and Infrastructure committee where he says he will fight the ongoing water issues plaguing the Treasure Coast.
"How can I defend this place. Where do I have to go. What do I have to do to get to work and be the Representative that everybody elected me to be," says Mast.
Mast says he plans to be on the House Veterans Committee as well.
