STUART, Fla. -- Deputies say a 21-year-old drunk driver crashed his way down SE Bonita Street, taking out five mailboxes and damaging other property along the way.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office says Rudy Noel Garcia-Perez collided with five mailboxes, drove through the yard of a house, over a plant bed, hit a parked car and caused that vehicle to hit a third car (causing extensive damage), and crashed into a fence.
Neighborhood residents attempted to stop Garcia-Perez as he recklessly drove down the street.
Despite the property damage, no one was injured.
Garcia-Perez was arrested and charged with multiple counts of DUI with Property Damage.
He's being held at the Martin County Jail on $2,000 bond.
