The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said an impaired 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed early Monday morning in Jupiter Farms.
The driver of a 2015 Suzuki motorcycle, identified as Palmer A. Lanou, was traveling westbound on 115th Avenue North around 12:33 a.m.
According to a PBSO report, when Lanou reached the intersection of 167th Place North, he did not stop at a stop sign.
After traveling past the stop sign, Lanou, who was not wearing a helmet, crashed into a fence and tree.
He was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest on the ground next to the vehicle.
PBSO said impairment is considered a factor in the fatal wreck but did not elaborate.
