Jupiter police say two people are dead following a crash Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., a driver in a Mustang heading north on Alternate A1A suffered a medical emergency, according to police.
They say he lost control, cross the median into southbound traffic, and hit a Honda Civic near Frederick Small Road.
The driver of the Mustang, identified as 66-year-old James Donnini was pronounced dead at Jupiter Medical Center, police said.
Officials said the driver of the Honda Civic, 72-year-old Laura Donald, was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and later died of her injuries.
Police said their investigation remains active.
