Palm Beach Gardens police identify man found dead in Target parking lot

Palm Beach Gardens police said an initial investigation revealed no indication of suspicious activity or foul play after a person was found dead Thursday evening in the parking lot area of a Target along Northlake Boulevard.

At about 7:30 p.m., police said officers responded to a man dead on a bench in the northern end of the parking lot.

Detectives and representatives from the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting a further investigation into the cause of death.

The deceased man was identified as 46-year-old Avery A. Reese.
