Boca police investigating armed carjacking

The Boca Raton Police Department is searching for two suspects they say carjacked two women at gunpoint in a Boca Raton parking lot. 

The incident happened Friday at approximately 11:50 p.m. in a parking lot at 5601 NW 2nd Ave. 

Detectives say two women were sitting in a red Infiniti FX35 in the parking lot of the Boca Tecca apartments waiting for an Uber driver to pick up one of them.  The passenger told police a black male opened the door of the car and put a gun to her head, ordering her to get out of the car and to the ground. 

The woman in the driver's seat of the Infiniti, told police another black male opened the driver's side door put a gun on her head and ordered her to get out of the car. 

According to the victims, the two armed men along with two additional black males, got in the car and drove off. 

Both women told police the two suspects were armed. They described one of the  suspects as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighting 160 lbs.,  wearing a long sleeve black shirt and a black cover over his face. 

The second suspect was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, with dark eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and a black bandana partially covering his face. 

The four suspects were last seen  heading south on NW 2nd. Ave. 

Officials say multiple credit cards, a Michael Kors bag and wallet , an iPhone and multiple other items were inside the car.
