Investigators from the Boca Raton Police Department and the FBI plan on releasing an update Tuesday afternoon in an 8-year-old unsolved murder case.
Nancy Bochicchio, 47, and her daughter Joey, 7, were found dead in their car at the Boca Town Center Mall on Dec. 12, 2007.
Police have offered a $350,000 reward for any information which leads to an arrest. They are expected to increase the reward.
The two agencies are hosting a news conference at 2:30 p.m. in Miramar.
Police said the Bochicchios, who were residents of West Boca Raton, were Christmas shopping at the mall. Detectives believe someone abducted them and forced Nancy to withdraw $500 from an ATM.
A security guard at the mall found Nancy's car idling and called police. Officers found Nancy and Joey's bodies inside. They said both of them were tied up and had been shot.
Police interviewed two people of interest but never made an arrest connected to this case.
The murder has been profiled on national television shows like America's Most Wanted.
Detectives said the circumstances are similar to another case which took place at the mall in August 2007.
In that case, a woman and her child were abducted, bound and left in their car. They were not killed.
Police have a sketch of a suspect from the August case and released it again as a possible suspect in the Bochicchio murders.
