Parents in Boca Raton can weigh in at a Wednesday meeting on proposed boundary changes for one of the county's most overcrowded elementary schools.
Proposed boundary changes at Calusa Elementary School would move students, causing the debate.
The school has more than 1,200 students and district leaders are trying to move at least 300 with the boundary changes.
Parents were very outspoken at previous meetings, forcing district leaders to reanalyze the plan.
Shuffling hundreds of students would also impact J.C. Mitchell, Whispering Pines, Addison Mizner, Boca Raton and Sunrise Park elementary schools.
The community input meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Spanish River High School Theater located at 5100 Jog Rd.
