Fire officials said 15 people, including seven children, were displaced by a fire early Friday morning in Boynton Beach.
Ten fire crews responded to the call which came in at 2:43 a.m.
Officials said the multi-unit fire occurred on Crossings Circle. Fire damaged two units and several others sustained water damage.
A team of six Red Cross volunteers helped coordinate emergency aid for four families.
WPTV spoke to a woman who lives at one of the destroyed apartments. She said she was at the hospital giving birth and now she has no home to return to.
The Red Cross said they are assessing the immediate emergency needs such as food, temporary shelter and clothing.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
