Clemens credited his organization on the ground with his victory, receiving 18,121 votes to Slosberg's 11,237.
"I think it's proof that money can't buy votes. People vote. I had almost $2 million spent against me, but we work hard. We actually talked to voters, and I think that's what makes a difference," said Clemens.
About $3 million was spent on this campaign.
