One suspect is in custody and another at large in connection with the kidnapping and shooting of man in Port St. Lucie, according to police.
Investigators say in October 2015, Terrence Green and his brother Calvin Green abducted Joseph Kiefer from Stuart.
They drove him out to Western Port St. Lucie, where police say Terrance shot him in the back of the head and left him for dead.
A bullet traveled around his skull and through his cheek.
However, passersby found Kiefer alive on the side of the road.
Using surveillance video of the brothers at a nearby gas station and testimony from the victim, U.S. Marshals were able to track down Terrance, the alleged shooter, on March 15th.
Calvin is still on the loose.
"It's very important that we locate him," says Port St. Lucie Police Det. Sgt. Charles Lumpkin.
"Anyone that can shoot someone in the back of the head in the callous way that these two did...they need to be off the street. The most important thing is to get him in custody and secured at the St. Lucie County Jail."
Police consider Calvin Green armed and extremely dangerous.
He was arrested in 2001 for a homicide and served less than 15 years.
Calvin was released just last year, months before he became a suspect in this attempted murder.
