There are two Florida lobster seasons, the two-day mini season and the eight-month regular lobster season.

The two-day season starts at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday and ends at midnight Thursday.

The regular eight-month lobster season is always Aug. 6 through March 31.

Only six lobsters can legally be caught per person, per day in Monroe County and Biscayne National Park. Twelve lobsters can be caught per person, per day for the rest of Florida.
