MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. — Visitors to a beach in the Florida Panhandle witnessed an unusual site Monday afternoon.
A Cessna aircraft had to make an emergency landing on Miramar Beach, according to a post on the Walton County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
Deputies said the aircraft reported engine failure, prompting the sandy touchdown.
No injuries were reported on the beach or in the aircraft.
