The all new Pandora: World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom officially opens to the public on Saturday, but WPTV got a sneak peak of the new attractions.
Based on the 2009 James Cameron hit movie Avatar, this is the largest addition in the history of Animal Kingdom.
The new world has two attractions. They are the family-friendly Na'vi River Journey and the Avatar Flight of Passage simulator.
The river journey is a slow-moving boat ride past glowing plants and Pandora creatures.
The Flight of Passage puts you on the back of a banshee while you soar through floating mountains and the Pandora world.
The main restaurant, Satu'li Canteen, features Satu'li bowls, a unique blend of protein, grains, and sauces that allow you to order up to 48 different combinations.
Much of Pandora is interactive; trees turn into drums and everything is colorful and bright. You don't have to be a fan of the movie to appreciate the beauty of the new addition to Animal Kingdom.
At night, that's when things really start to change. The whole area lights up, giving visitors a totally different experience from the daytime.
