GLADES COUNTY, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol troopers say three people have died in a head-on crash on State Road 29 north of LaBelle.
The wreck near the intersection with Chaparral Avenue in rural Glades County, just before 6 a.m., closed both directions of the road.
The crash involved a Ford SUV and a box truck.
In addition to the three confirmed deaths, several others were transported to area hospitals.
