Feb. 22 may be your favorite day of the week and you don't even know it. That's because it's National Margarita Day! To celebrate, we brought in some margarita experts at El Camino in Delray Beach.
Mixologist Jessica Bell and Chef Mike Zaradic shared some great margaritas and tell us what kinds of foods we can pair them with.
1) Whoo Ceviche + Spicy Avocado Margarita
The acid from the ceviche will be wonderfully balanced with the creamy texture of the avocado margarita.
2) Carnitas Tacos + Pineapple Coconut Margarita
This pairing is a play on the classical pastor flavor combination of pork and pineapple from Central Mexico.
3) Octopus + Smoked Tequila Old Fashioned
This is one of the best selling appetizers at El Camino. This drink is for tequila and bourbon enthusiasts alike.
El Camino is also growing -- opening up a new location in Fort Lauderdale in just a few weeks, so margaritas for all!
