WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Residents of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties are invited to nominate an outstanding father in their community for the Palm Beach International Boat Show's "Frontline Super Dad" award.
Intended to coincide with Father's Day this year, which falls on June 21, the award will celebrate one South Florida dad who has worked on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. Think doctors, nurses, firefighters, paramedics and policemen.
The winner will receive a free ride on a 2020 Galeon 425 HTS, a 42-foot yacht and sports cruiser, courtesy of MarineMax. The lucky dad and his family will be treated to a day on the water with their own personal captain for Father's Day. Applications run through June 15, and the winner will be notified via email on June 17. You can apply here.
The annual boat show, one of the largest in the country, has moved online this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Originally set for March, it opened online instead May 14 and will continue to run until the end of this year.
