Ingredients
-4 Eggs
-1/2 cup Milk
-3/4 cup Brown sugar
-2 Table spoon Cinamon
-Pinch of salt
-Cuban bread
-cup of cream cheese
-1/2 cup guava jelly
-1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
-1/2 stick of butter
FRENCH TOAST CUSTARD
-Beat 4 eggs with the brown sugar, add the cinnamon into mix, then add milk and mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
FILLING
-In a Bowl mix cream cheese, guava jelly and chopped bacon until well incorporated.
BREAD PREP
Cut cuban bread into four 5 inch sections. Cut bread sections through the middle so that bread flaps open. Then proceed to smear filling on to bread generously and close (like a sandwich). Cut pieces in a diagonal angle so that you are left with triangle sliced pieces pf bread. Once you have all your triangles ready you will dunk bread pieces into custard so that they are mildly moist. Pre heat a large pan or skillet to medium heat, add a bit of butter and melt. When butter is melted add your triangles on to pan or skillet and sear for about 90 seconds aside so that you cook off and brown custard. Repeat steps until done, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon and serve.
