Nonprofits seek volunteers to deliver meals for Chanukah

Meals will be delivered to people across Palm Beach Co.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Three local nonprofits are seeking volunteers to deliver holiday meals to community members in need.

The Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family Service, the Jewish Volunteer Center of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and The Kind Kitchen of Palm Beach will team up to deliver meals for Chanukah on Dec. 11 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Volunteers will wear masks and gloves, and practice social distancing when they deliver the holiday meals.

Meals will be delivered to homebound seniors and others in Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington and West Palm Beach.
