We're in a countdown to the Academy Awards (it’s this Sunday!) and some of this year's most recognized films are tackling some pretty big political topics.
In fact, Hollywood has long looked to the political stage for inspiration - from classics like All the President's Men and Apocalypse Now to more recent pictures like the Oscar-nominated Selma and American Sniper. In almost every instance, these Hollywood movies are packing some sort of political statement.
