Support is growing for Elton John's campaign to boycott Dolce & Gabbana, according to CNN.

The 67-year-old entertainer said he is boycotting the fashion house after founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana told Italian magazine Panorama they disagree with in-vitro fertilization.

Elton John's anger focused on the interview's reference to "synthetic" children born from "rented" wombs.

The hashtag #BoycottDolceGabbana had been used more than 35,000 times on Twitter early Monday, after John first invoked it on Sunday. Gabbana, who has defended his "freedom to speak," has launched the hashtag #boycotteltonjohn, which has been used just 1,600 times on Twitter, according to social media search tool Topsy. (via CNN)
