Ethan Stein started as a reporter at WPTV in July 2023. He enjoys using data and documents to tell stories about government accountability.
He was an award-winning investigative reporter at KCRG in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and KOMU in Columbia, Missouri. His accolades include being named an IRE award finalist, multiple-time regional Murrow Award winner and has received multiple regional Emmy nominations.
He was also a national semifinalist in the 60th annual Heart Journalism Awards for Television while graduating from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with degrees in convergence television reporting and political science.
When not researching a story, he is partaking in humility while playing golf or watching the New York Jets and the New York Knicks.
