After such a tumultuous and stressful spring, we all need something to look forward to — and summertime is waiting just in the wings, ready to provide relief with its balmy weather and delightful array of refreshing drink options.

In 2017, Jack Daniels introduced a new peach-flavored malt beverage that begs to be enjoyed while taking in a rosy sunset from a porch swing. Or while dangling your feet in the pool. Or while binge-watching your 89th Netflix series this month.

Now that the weather is heating up again, people are discovering the Jack Daniel’s Southern Peach beverage anew, and they are excited to find that the whiskey-and-peach combo is light, refreshing and full of summertime vibes.

The malt beverage combines natural peach flavors with a hint of classic Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey. With an ABV of 4.8%, the down-home cocktails are easygoing and light — just right for a summer evening.

You can find six-packs of the 10-ounce bottles at liquor stores around the U.S. and Canada, along with some Walmart locations and certain online retailers like Total Wine. There’s also a variety of other Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails flavors, such as Watermelon Punch, Black Jack Cola, Berry Punch and Lynchburg Lemonade. Southern Citrus was released in 2019 to join the line.

Fans of the beverage have taken to the Internet recently to sing its peachy praises. Instagram user @dollybelle_designs kicked off their Memorial Day weekend with the drink, and posted a photo of the bottle with the simple caption, “Y’all!! Dude!! SOO good!!”

Other beverage companies have also hopped aboard the peachy-drinks train for the summertime, including Pabst Blue Ribbon, which recently released a hard peach tea. At 100 calories and 4% ABV, these slender cans would make for ideal porch sippin’.
