Deep down, most people probably wouldn't mind living out a romantic comedy — let's be real, who doesn't want to find true love?
"Pretty Woman" is one of the top-grossing rom-coms of all-time, and it's not hard to see why, since is also has one of those fairy tale, rags-to-riches endings.
Now, fans may literally live out the movie with a special package (which cost between $15,000 and $100,000) from the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where parts of the movie were filmed — provided they already have (or have hired) a significant other, of course.
The all-inclusive package includes a stay in the room where Vivian Ward stayed. That’s right, guests stay the elegant Presidential Suite, a 4,000 square-foot room with his-and-hers walk-in closets, a canopy bed, a sunken tub for singing to Prince on a Walkman …. and that's just the tip of the Pretty Woman iceberg.
The hotel arranges a weekend of activities inspired by the movie, with everything from a personal shopping consultation on Rodeo Drive to a picnic at Greystone Mansion (chauffered by a driver in a Rolls-Royce). Guests may go barefoot in the park and to a couples' massage at the spa.
After that there’s a private styling in the suite and then a classy date to the opera at the Music Center: Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles, or the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
They even provide stills from the movie so the couple may re-create the most memorable scenes from the film.
As for the fairy-tale ending? The hotel says it’ll leave that up to the guests.
