Marriage is tough. Even some of the fake ones don't last.
This month, producers from the long-running Fox series "The Simpsons" announced that for the show's upcoming season, the marriage of Marge and Homer Simpson will be put to the ultimate test. According to showrunner Al Jean, the pair will "legally separate" in a story arc this fall.
While it's virtually guaranteed that Homer and Marge will get back together quickly, there have been a few television marriages that didn't last.
