2) Party Like It’s 1776 This Fourth of July - Jupiter
The Gist
1000 NORTH is having a barbecue with live music and, AND there is a Hot Dog bar (yes you read that correctly) featuring over 50 toppings. The organizers say, "The red of the Jupiter Lighthouse, the blue waters, and the fluffy, white clouds, all paint the perfect setting for this summer holiday."

Smoked chicken sliders, prime Texas brisket, Memphis-style dry rub baby back ribs, grilled corn, twice-baked potatoes, Cold Fashioned (frozen Old Fashioned), wine, and local tap beer.

4) Fourth of July runs
Freedom 4 Miles - Tequesta
The Gist
A run supporting local fallen heroes and their families. At Christmas, the charity provides over 7,000 gifts to children who have lost a parent serving in the Military. On Valentine's Day, hundreds of widows of war get a beautiful gift to honor their loved one.

Run 4 Freedom - Lake Worth
The Gist
A four-mile race benefiting Wounded Veterans Relief Fund. Kids (8-12) can participate in Firecracker mile, or the Cupcake dash (kids 7 and under). Food, music, local vendors, and more.

5) Boston's on the Beach Street Party - Delray
The Gist
Upgrade your Delray fireworks show experience. The ticket price includes a buffet dinner, soda or tea, and guaranteed seat directly on A1A for fireworks viewing. Seating is family style and will be available starting at 7 p.m. Buffet service stops promptly after the fireworks.
