You can tell school is almost back in session because suddenly there are plenty of things to do this weekend in South Florida.

1) Back to School Expo - Wellington

The Gist
An exclusive opportunity for parents, teacher, and others to connect face-to-face with education and health-related organizations and companies.  It's also Florida's tax-free school shopping weekend, so parents can stock up on clothing and other items at the mall and save money.

2) Kevin Hart - West Palm Beach

The Gist
Comedian Kevin Hart plays Coral Sky.  Rumors have it that you should leave your phones at home.

3) Miranda Lambert & Little Big Town - West Palm Beach

The Gist
Dog lover Miranda Lambert is in town to play Coral Sky.  Last time she was in town she adopted a dog a Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

4) Pup Crawl - Stuart

The Gist
This event benefits the shelter animals at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.  Anyone may participate — with or without a dog. Participants will gain VIP access to five bars in the downtown Stuart district. This includes a free drink at each stop along the way. This year’s theme is “Harry Pawwter” and prizes will be awarded to the best dressed.

The Deets
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. downstairs by the water at Mulligan’s Beach House Bar & Grill, 131 SW Flagler Ave., in Stuart. The event runs from 6 to 11 p.m. 
The cost is $25 in advance and $30 per person at the door (must be 21 and older). Participating bars include Mulligans Beach House Bar & Grill, Spritz City Bistro, Vine & Barley Stuart, Sneaki Tiki and the Crafted Keg.

 5) Kiss Alive - Lake Park

The Gist
It's a Kiss cover band!  Loud, ear-popping rock, with the guys in full makeup and costume - everything you would expect with a classic KISS experience. Plus, you’ll get an opportunity to mix, mingle and take pictures with the band after the show.
