1) Riptide Music Festival - Fort Lauderdale
The Gist
The Riptide Music Festival has expanded to a three-day event on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The beach party will feature more than 30 bands. Including the Jacksons, the brothers of Michael and Janet are coming back together for the first time in years. Also The Sugarhill Gang, Panic! at the Disco, 311, LIVE, Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, the Gin Blossoms and more.

3) Disney's Lion King On Sale - West Palm Beach
The Gist
Beginning Saturday, December 1 at 8 am, tickets will exclusively be available in person at the Kravis Center Box Office. At 9 a.m. tickets will also be available by phone at 561-832-7469 and at 10 a.m., tickets may be purchased online at the official Kravis Center website Kravis.org.

David Spade who was nominated in 1999 for an Emmy Award for his memorable role as Dennis Finch, the wise-cracking, power-hungry assistant on “Just Shoot Me” is in town with his comedy show.

5) Nutcracker - West Palm Beach
The Gist
Ballet Palm Beach leaps into the season with the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, the coming-of-age story of Marie who receives a mysterious gift on Christmas Eve. Adventures ensue as Tchaikovsky’s score draws Marie into a terrifying battle with the Mouse King, past a mystical snowstorm, and to the prince's Enchanted Kingdom.
