As we gear up towards Halloween there are plenty of fun events to go to around town.
1) "Punkin Chunkin" - Loxahatchee
The Gist
Teams will strive to launch a pumpkin the farthest using home-made flinging contraptions of their own design. Come out and root on your favorite team, build a "punkin-chunker" and compete to claim sweet, sweet victory, or just enjoy some delicious pie and have fun! There will be games, contests, raffles, and kids’ activities, a Pumpkin Patch and photo area, food trucks, hot dogs, pies, and drinks. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to picnic. All proceeds support Community of Hope's student ministry. No alcohol or pets are allowed.

Help underserved women get free or reduced-priced mammograms, diagnostic screenings, and treatments by spending your Sunday afternoon enjoying sips and bites, shopping from unique local businesses, bidding on one of many fabulous silent auction items, and supporting Komen South Florida all at the same time at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place. 100% of the proceeds go to the community.

3) 45th Annual Oktoberfest of the Palm Beaches
The Gist
Oktoberfest is the most popular German custom that Germany has ever exported to the rest of the world, and with more than 35,000 expected visitors over the two weekends, the American German Club of the Palm Beaches brings the tastes of Bavaria to South Florida.
