On country music star Kenny Chesney's weekly Sirius XM show, 'Bar at the End of the World', he likes to talk about some of his favorite watering holes. Last week he featured Boston's on the Beach in Delray.
“If you want real on the coast of Florida,” Kenny says, “Boston’s on the Beach is a good place to find it. People are friendly, the beer is cold, and everybody just soaks up all that living and forgets about their problems for a while.”
Bars that made Kenney's Inaugural list of Favorite Watering Holes include:
- Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina
- Maui’s Mama’s Fish House
- Maine’s Allison’s Restaurant
- Key West’s legendary Sloppy Joe’s
- The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey
“We are thrilled for the opportunity to appear on Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio,” says Mark DeAtley, general manager of Boston’s on the Beach. “Our patrons love Kenny’s music, including “When the Sun Goes Down,” which is all about kicking back and enjoying life with friends and a cold beer.”
Chesney is a fan of the historic club’s laid-back vibe, the reggae bands, and the truly local feel that’s often hard to find in tourist meccas.
