During your stay at the Starcruiser, you'll become the hero of your very own Star Wars adventure, including your own Star Wars-inspired name and identity. Disney said when you look out the windows of your room, it will seem as though you're traveling through space.

New artist renderings released by Disney show the entrance to the Galactic Starcruiser terminal, along with the transport vehicle that will take guests from the hotel to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

An official opening date, along with room rates, have not been announced.

The exciting news comes ahead of the grand opening of the latest ride at Galaxy's Edge, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which will open to the public on Thursday.

Taste and See South Florida reporter T.A. Walker got an inside look at the attraction, which Disney said is its most immersive ride to date.
