Food Network show 'Restaurant Impossible' to feature Delray Beach's Taverna Trela restaurant

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Food Network's "Restaurant Impossible" series in coming to Delray Beach next month. Chef Robert Irvine is trying to fix Taverna Trela, which is a Greek restaurant.

The Palm Beach Post's Leslie Gray Streeter says he will make over the menu and change the physical appearance with just two days and $10,000.

The volunteer schedule is as follows:
Shift #1 – Tuesday, Jan. 7 from noon to 7 p.m.

Shift #2 – Tuesday, Jan. 7 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Shift #3 - Wednesday, Jan. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer. All volunteers must sign an appearance release and volunteer agreement on site.
