The coronavirus pandemic has many parents wondering how exactly will the experience work.
WPTV’s NewsChannel 5 went to the mall Thursday to find out.
- Families will enter Santa’s Enchanted Gazebo with their masks on.
- Then they will sit on a bench in front of Santa (who will also be wearing his mask)
- When the photographer moves safety away, families can take off their mask for the photo.

“You’ll be seated in this bench area, or you can stand, Santa will be ten feet behind you-plenty of space back on his own throne. He is risen up a little bit so you can still see him in the shot – Interact with him,” Whitney Jester, spokesperson for The Gardens Mall said.

You can tell Santa your wishes from a socially distant space.
The mall is recommending parents make an appointment to reduce lines and crowding. Find that booking link by clicking here.
