Jardin'sExecutive Chef Jordan Lerman and his partner Executive Pastry Chef Stephanie Cohen have launched something strikingly new for the brunch scene on Clematis street; a pig roast. The food is full of high-end flavors and yumminess and you can get bottomless mimosas for $15. What I really love is the vast outdoor patio space in the back of Jardin with a large grand fountain, Spanish tile, and a live DJ. This brunch is more sophisticated than the typical Clematis street offering and Jordan makes everything to order himself.
As I was listening to the DJ and hanging out back I ran into my friend Leslie Streeter from the Palm Beach Post and her son Brooks. If you've been following Leslie on social you know she is going through a month-long vegan challenge and I thought it odd that she'd be at a pig roast (Click Play below).
The pork is delicious because it is slow-roasted and lusciously tender.
“Pig roasting in the La Caja China tradition is something that both Jordan and I love,” said Stephanie. “With my Panamanian background, this is a long-time tradition that my family loves. I know so many diners in South Florida feel the same way. We are excited to make this a new option for Sunday brunch!”

During the Caja China Brunch, which will run from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, the pulled pork will be served alone with two sides or sandwich style. Sides will change from week to week but look for choices such as Mexican street corn and cold options like Watermelon and Feta Salad with pickled red onion and watercress.
Jardin is located at 33 Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach.
