New "Happily Ever After" fireworks and projection show debuts at Magic Kingdom Park

A brand new fireworks and projection show debuted this week at Magic Kingdom Park."Happily Ever After" is 18-minutes long and features more lasers, projections, and lights than any show before it. The show's director JamesSilson says, "We've added over 60 moving lights behind the castle."

The show uses Cinderella's Castle as a canvas to tell a short story. "We use [projectors] to bring the castle to life, make the castle the star, but also create a playground for our characters," said David. "Happily Ever After" features your favorite characters from over 25 Disney films including: Aladdin, Big Hero Six, Brave, Frozen, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Incredibles, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Moana, Mulan, Tarzan, The Princess and the Frog, Toy Story, Up, WALL-E, Wreck-It Ralph, and Zootopia.

David says. "the storyline focuses on finding our own happy ever afters." The story deals with struggles, triumph, the fight of good over evil. At the end of the show, Tinker Bell flies across the night sky spreading pixie dust.

The score for “Happily Ever After” was recorded by a 75-piece orchestra in London.
