I often get approached to write about a happy hour by Public Relations folks and they are happy to boast about their client's $8 beer night or $15 appetizer (what?!).
First of all, that's not a deal, that's highway robbery; unless you are a super foodie looking for high-end experiences.
That's why I appreciated it when Josie's Ristorante in Boynton Beach started the conversation with "We have $2 Bud Light drafts." That caught my ear, but then I wondered, "How is the Italian food?"
Usually with deep discounts on booze comes the regular "pub grub" fair that makes your stomach ache the next day.
Not the case at Josie's. AND you really don't have to take my word for it; I posted a picture of my 16-layer Chocolate Cake on Facebook and unsolicited rave reviews of Josie's started pouring in.
