Art Garfunkel's "In Close-Up" performance is making its way to the Parker Playhouse. Tickets go on sale next Friday at 10 am. "I'm a singer trying to get away with a lucky job. I try to soothe, to lift... That's my life," said Art in a statement.
Art, a Grammy-winning artist, is publishing a book this September "What Is It All But Luminous" by author Alfred A. Knopf. Art has released a book of poetry and released 12 solo albums.
He is best known for his partnership with Paul Simon with songs like "Mrs. Robinson," "Scarborough Fair," "The Sound of Silence," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and more.
