In years past, when you strolled through SunFest you'd see the same old art year after year. Usually, it's the same art on display at ArtiGras and Delray Affair. But this year SunFest has decided to change its offerings to lower cost, but high-quality items that you might actually buy.
Clients of The Arc of Palm Beach County are unveiling more than 120 mosaics made exclusively for the event. Shani Simpson, an employee of The Arc says, "[We were] chosen to be a part of SunFest based on the strength and quality of the art work that is produced here." And she isn't kidding, you want to make sure you get to their booth first to have the first pick! Click play on the video above to see examples.
Brianna Sidman, The Arc's Fund Development and Events Manager says the pieces, "Start as low as $10, but some of our more intricate pieces can go for as high as $150." There is even going to be a giant mosaic guitar that may go for $5,000.
