WELLINGTON, Fla. — South Florida's coolest rapper is carrying on a Wellington holiday tradition.

Vanilla Ice will headline a reimagined "Winterfest" parade Saturday night.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 edition of Winterfest will be a drive-in event.

Dubbed as "Winterfest: Live from Your Ride," the newly designed format will maximize social distancing and meet all health guidelines.

Wellington's most famous rapper, also known as Robert Van Winkle, will perform during Winterfest, which starts at 6:30 p.m.

The cost to participate is $20 per vehicle.

Vanilla Ice encouraged everyone interested to purchase tickets now "because it's gonna sell out fast."

"Get in where you fit in," he said in a video posted to YouTube.
