ORLANDO — La Nouba, the Cirque du Soleil show at Walt Disney World, closed down at the end of 2017. Next month, a new family-friendly Cirque show is set to open at Disney Springs in Orlando. WPTV got a preview of the stunning first two acts of the new show.

"So we are very excited for our guests to experience 'Drawn to Life.' It's coming to Disney Springs on April 17th and it's a wonderful new collaboration between Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Imaginering, and Cirque du Soleil," says Marilyn West a Walt Disney World Ambassador.

The stage is an animator’s desk and guests watch as pencils, paper, and desks come to life.

It's the first time Walt Disney and Cirques do Soleil collaborated to bring a uniquely crafted Disney themed show.

“Interpreting the works from Disney's spectacular catalogue of animation into a live show was a thrilling opportunity for Cirque du Soleil, and we couldn’t be more proud of this production,” explained Diane Quinn, Chief Creative Officer Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group. “Together with Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, we have created a stunning show that will inspire audiences to dream and reach for the impossible.”
