WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Brightline said Thursday that service has resumed after a disruption caused by an operating issue at the New River bridge in Fort Lauderdale.

The issue resulted in limited service between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale and the halting of all trains between Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

Florida East Coast Railway, which maintains the bridge, was at the site.

Brightline recently opened two new stations in Boca Raton and Aventura.
